BBL
BBL (Breazilian But Lift)
Brazilian butt lifts aim to give women a butt that’s more lifted, younger, rounder, and smoother…
Sometimes while the lack of sufficient fullness in the butt causes the need for this surgery, the large, flat, and low volume of the butt due to its shapeless position despite the sufficient amount of fat in the butt causes you to need this surgery.
Fat taken from unwanted other parts of the body or from your butt is processed and then transferred to shape your butt on whole.

Surgeon YAVUZ OZSULAR
Any women above age 18, who isn’t pregnant or breastfeeding, and has excess body fat can benefit from BBL. If you don’t have excess fat, implant treatment may be a better option for you.
The risk of thrombosis is questioned by examining your family history and the examinations and tests requested before the surgery. Unfortunately, this surgery is not suitable for you if you or your family have a history of thrombosis.
Anyone who is healthy and has nothing preventing them from having this surgery can undergo BBL. BBL is a shaping surgery. You don’t need to lose weight before surgery. If you have excess fat on their body, then you’re the most eligible patient group.
BBL will offer you:
- Rounder, bigger, and more voluminous hips
- Significant curve between your waist and hips
- More attractive and pretentious body lines
- An lifted butt
- Lifted hips (they won’t sag anymore)
During your pre-operative exam, Dr. Ozsular first will listen to any expectations, complaints, and concerns you have about the surgery. Next, he’ll walk you through the examination, plan and draw out how much fat could get extracted from you – all the while considering how much fat you (already) have, alongside your physical features, height, weight, and leg length.
Then, he’ll photograph you from different angles and give you a preview of your results through those images and simulation.
Patients sometimes want large and big hips that are disproportionate to their physical appearance. Your butt instead should match your body structure and health. Dr. Ozsular will do the best to plan a new butt for you by taking all of your desires and expectations.
Anesthesia planning is conducted after necessary examinations and analyses are requested. Typically, general anesthesia is preferred.
Dr. Ozsular may tell you to temporarily stop using certain medications – in which case, do so. (If you actively take aspirin or any form of anticoagulant, tell your doctor and continue only if he tells you to do so.
Try to reduce how much salt you consume as well a few days before the surgery. This will reduce your risk of developing edema.
You are allowed to eat as well as drink water until 00:00 (12 AM) the night before your surgery. Since the surgery will be conducted with general anesthesia, you will need to fast for at least six hours prior to the procedure. (If you forget to do so, your surgery may be postponed or canceled.)
Don’t put on make-up
Don’t wear nail polish or enamel.
Don’t wear wigs. Don’t wear any jewelry (including piercings) – your body should be free of metal.
Also, don’t forget to put together an overnight bag – including loose clothes (preferably with zippers/buttons), – before you come in for the surgery. You also should wear comfortable sneakers.
On the morning of the surgery, you will be taken to your room. Dr. Ozsular and his assistant will come and visit you.
Your surgery will commence at the time specified. You’ll be under general anesthesia during the whole procedure and therefore won’t be aware of anything whilst the doctor is working on you.
Fat will be taken from various parts of your body (back, abdomen, leg, hips) using a 1 mm-wide cannula, and then purified through special filters in an air-locked closed system in order to enrich the stem cells in the fat. Our aim is to give you smooth and shaped butts that will maintain their form in the long term– to achieve this, stem cell-enriched fat transfer is important.
Now, approx. 40 - 60% of such fat remains. This fat is rich in stem cells, growth factors, and other cells that support the stem cells.
Next, this stem cell-enriched fat will be carefully injected into your butt to give it a round, plump, and upturned form.
By the procedure, you’ll stand out with a thinner, more proportional waist and a new butt.
Whilst you’re still under general anesthesia, we lastly will dress you up in corsets and wake you up.
You don’t feel pain or aching while waking up because your body will be still under the ongoing effects of the anesthesia and analgesics. In other words, you’ll wake up comfortably.
You may feel dizzy and drowsy for the first few hours after you wake up – this is normal and temporary.
After the operation, Dr. Ozsular and his assistant will visit you and tell you how your surgery went.
About 4 hours after surgery, you’ll be able to start eating a light soup.
You will be asked to stay overnight after the surgery.
If you have a drain in you, it’ll get removed the following day.
You may develop slight ecchymosis or edema depending on how your body reacts to the trauma – this, too, is normal and temporary.
Since the operation is performed under general anesthesia, you won’t feel any pain whatsoever. During your stay in hospital afterwards, you’ll be given strong analgesics so that you don’t feel pain or any discomfort. Upon discharge, you’ll be prescribed analgesics for 2 or 3 more days to keep you feeling comfortable.
You’ll need to rest for the first five days. You may have trouble sitting and standing. You are not allowed to run or to lift anything heavy, and you must protect your new butt from any impact. You shouldn’t remove your corset even though it is an intriguing and exciting process.
Don’t forget to take your medications as they’ve been prescribed to you.
Your first control will take place 3 to 5 days after the surgery.
Throughout the process, Dr. Ozsular’s assistant will keep in touch with you.
You’ll be able to go for walks, return to work, and return back to your normal life a week later – provide you avoid doing any heavy labor.
You’ll need to wait two months to return to doing heavy sports (e.g. swimming, diving, skiing).
You’ll need to wear your uplift corset for another 4 to 6 weeks after the surgery.
Use special pillows during the first 4 to 6 weeks with advice of Dr. Ozsular.
From Week Four onwards, your hips will begin to appear plumper and more rounded – now you’ll be able to enjoy them. They will take on their final form on 3rd months.
Your new hips will give your body a natural, esthetic and beautiful appearance.
During the surgery, liposuction cannulas will be placed into your body via 5-7 mm incisions. These surgeries are meant to give you a more esthetic and attractive appearance. Thus, your scars will be skillfully hidden your body’s skinfolds as well as beneath your undergarments. As it stands, the scares will be tiny if not near invisible and therefore won’t leave virtually any ugly trace of themselves because they’ll be hidden among certain parts of your body.
Since what is being fed into your body isn’t an implant or a permanent substance, your body will absorb some of your fat over time. However, Dr. Ozsular will calculate the absorption rate and conduct transfer accordingly. As long as you maintain your weight and do sports regularly, your hips will remain round, lifted, and in proportion with your waist.
Dr. Ozsular will prescribe regular massages for you to accelerate the healing process as stated by him.
Excessive weight gain and sedentary life due to pregnancy can cause lipoidosis, and thus slightly alter your results. If you are expecting a baby soon, then we recommend that you postpone your surgery until after you’ve given birth.
If you don’t plan on getting pregnant within several years, we advise you delay your BBL operation. You can still benefit from this procedure again later on, too!
Your body will reveal its new shape as soon as your edema subsides. Edema will subside either faster or slower depending on your body’s structure and on how well you follow the doctor’s orders after surgery.
Fats taken from the back and waist area will push your butt forward.
Fats taken from your abdomen will give you a more attractive and proportional body structure both from the front and back.
Fat taken from your inner legs will give the portion between your butt and legs a more holistic, complete look.
In plastic surgeries, we perform body shaping and repositioning processes. However, we cannot prevent you from gaining weight afterwards. After the operation, you must take good care of your body, eat a balanced and healthy diet, and include sports or walking as a part of your daily life. A small amount of weight gains won’t affect your body’s proportion. For example, if – through surgery – we were to shape your waist and butt to 62 and 92 cm, and then you were to gain one or two kilograms, that ratio would climb proportionally such as 64 and 95 cm, etc.
As aging will affect your muscles, connective tissues, and fat, you can undergo this surgery again to reshape your butt.
However, if you gain a large amount of weight, then your body’s proportion and shape will ultimately deteriorate. It would be wrong and unhealthy of you to think that you could have the surgery re-done, and then go and gain more weight, and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
Brazilian butt lift is an safe and successful procedure. Hundred of thousands people both here in Turkey and around the world benefit from it every year. Risk of tissue rejection is minimum because your own fat is being transferred.
The risk of thrombosis is questioned by examining your family history and the examinations and tests requested before the surgery. Unfortunately, this surgery is not suitable for you if you or your family have a history of thrombosis.
If you are healthy, you’ll be put on a mixture of measures such as compression socks, corsets, and anticoagulants at the same time to reduce any – already minimum – risks.
When we transfer your own fat or tissue from one part of your body to another, there is almost no risk of your body to reject the new cells.
Your own fat will be processed and purified so that it will include a lot of stem cell, growth factors, and other cells to support the stem cells.
The transferred stem cells are adult stem cells. They have various types. Some regenerate cells, whilst others repair tissue or do other things depending on the need.
After the fibroblast cells in the stem cells are placed in the cells in the existing tissues and form cruciate ligaments, they start the repairing process, which ultimately rejuvenates and smoothens your subcutaneous tissue. We don’t just add a filler material to that area – we add live and quality tissue! This will give you a long-lasting, bouncy, young, and rounded butt free of cellulite.
For the first week after the surgery, you’ll have to sit on a special pillow that will help maintain your butt’s shape after the surgery.
Yes, when you return back to your normal life. You’ll need to follow a combination of a healthy diet and sports if you want to maintain both your weight and your butt’s new shape for a longer period.
Our patients frequently ask us this. They may want to correct other parts of their body esthetically all in one shot and wake up beautiful since they are already anesthetized and a one-week rest period is arranged for the post-operative period.
In short, the answer is yes, you can have more than one surgery done at the same time. However, Dr. Ozsular will examine you first and make decision based on your blood values, age, the overall condition of your health, and why you want more than one surgery at once.
If he sees no problems otherwise, he may carry out more than one procedure.
