Lip Filler
What Is Lip Filler?
Your lips give your face expression and character. For centuries, people have viewed thick, full, and shaped lips more attractive and esthetic.
Lip fillers thus give your lips more volume, fullness, and shape by filling them up according your lips’ structure and facial symmetry.
Lips contain a lot of veins and different from the other parts of the body because of their dynamic structure. Therefore, we use hyaluronic acid fillers that have been specially developed for your lips. The procedure is merely a small injection.
Where On The Lips Is The Lip Filler Applied?
This depends on the patient’s esthetic expectations. Some patients want their lips to look more feminine, others fleshier and more elegant, and others more baby-like. Some want their lips to look natural, as though they weren’t filled.
Sometimes we apply filler only to the reddish portion of the lip, sometimes to the lip contour (where the lip tissue and skin meet), and sometimes to the lower or upper lips.
Dr. Ozsular will do his best to give your face as subtle an appearance as possible.

The purpose of esthetics is to give your face a consistent appearance and make you look more. Dr. Ozsular will determine whether or not your lips need less or more filler depending on your facial structure. That said, the most ideal amount gets selected together with what your expectations are. The suitable amount can be determined by performing controls during the procedure.
Lips are sensitive, thus any procedure applied to them tends to be painful. Before the procedure, we will apply anesthetic cream to them. If you have a low pain threshold, then we can anesthetize your lips via injection. Once complete, the procedure can carried out comfortably using special fine-tip needles. This procedure is quick and easy, and lasts no longer than 10 to 15 minutes.
This procedure is simple, reliable, and quick. Therefore, yes – you can return to your normal life immediately after the procedure.
For the first three hours after the procedure, try to avoid excessive gesturing. You shouldn’t consume extremely hot or cold foods or beverages. You shouldn’t put on lipstick. You should also avoid hard chewing actions or any blows to your face.
The procedure lasts between 6 and 12 months. As your body naturally produces and absorbs hyaluronic acid (as used in the filler), degradation rate and the quality of the filler are also important.
Anyone (female or male) over the age of 18 and those who are not pregnant or breastfeeding can have lip fillers done. They are ideal for those wanting to change the volume, shape, and curve of their lips and to give them a fleshier appearance.
