French Lift
French Lift
The threads used in the French lift are developed in France, hence the name. French lift is popular throughout much of the world. The procedure:
- Sharpens your facial contours,
- Corrects plump and sagging cheeks
- Opens your naso-labial and marionette lines
- Captures the effect of a facial thread lift
- Lifts droopy brows
- Gives you a natural face without harming your facial expressions
- Leaves behind no scars on your face (We enter your scalp via cannulas – no trace of incision)
- Comes with low risk of complications,
- Allows you to quickly return to your normal routine
- Offers more permanent results (the threads are silicone-based, and thus durable).
Many famous people both in Turkey and throughout the world have had a French lift, thus raising its popularity. It is also known as an “infinity lift,” or simply “infinity”.
French lift is done by entering special threads through the scalp from both sides of your face via blunt-ended cannulas. We can do it anywhere on your face you need with custom planning.

We, Plastic Surgeons Look After Your Beauty.
Surgeon YAVUZ OZSULAR

The procedure can be applied if you want a facial, eyebrow, neck, or jowl lift, or prominent and tight cheeks, but you won’t want surgery done. You also shouldn’t already have any severe sagging.
During your examination, Dr. Ozsular will listen to your expectations and the changes you want to have done to your face. Next, he’ll assess your age, facial structure, how thick your skin is, how much subcutaneous tissue you have, and how much drooping you have on your face, and then come up with a plan to correct it.
One major advantage this procedure will offer you is a personalized plan, so that you can become beautiful again without becoming common.
If you regularly take any medication, tell Dr. Ozsular and continue them only if he tells you to do so.
Try to reduce how much salt you consume as well one week before the surgery. This will reduce your risk of developing edema.
This procedure can be done under local or general anesthesia. After your anesthesia planning is done, you will be informed about how you should come to the hospital.
If you’re on the local anesthesia: You can come to the hospital on a full stomach. You won’t need to fast or do any other prep.
If you’re on the general anesthesia:
- You’ll need to fast six hours before the surgery.
- You mustn’t wear any metal accessories (jewelry, watches etc.)
- You mustn’t wear any make-up, or a wig or hair gel.
- You should wear loose clothing – i.e. anything with zippers, buttons on the front so that you’re more comfortable.
You won’t need to stay overnight in the hospital. You can return home or to your hotel on the same day.
On the day of surgery, you will be taken to your room to rest. Dr. Ozsular and his assistant will come and visit you.
Next, you’ll be taken to the operating room at the surgery time. The doctor will begin working on you as soon as you’re placed under anesthesia.
If you’re on the local anesthesia, the effect of anesthesia will last for another 3 to 4 hours, so you will not feel pain.
If you’re on the general anesthesia, you may feel dizzy the first few hours after you wake up.
You will develop swelling and edema a few hours after the surgery – this is normal, and will subside three days later. You can apply a cold compress to parts of your face – as prescribed by the doctor.
Your face may feel slightly tight. This is normal.
If you feel okay, you can go straight home or back to your hotel after surgery in the same evening.
You shouldn’t do any bed rest or do heavy labor for the first week. You however can take slow walks (so long as they don’t increase your pulse). You can also sunbathe so long as you protect your head. Take time for yourself and relax.
You can take short, warm showers for the first 5 – 7 days until your bandages are removed.
Don’t rub your face too hard and avoid any impact to it for the first 15 days.
Keep your head held high after the surgery if you want the swelling to subside quicker.
Sleep on your back only for the first 3 weeks.
You can return to your normal routine 7 to 10 days later.
You can begin wearing contact lenses again 1 week later.
Don’t do anything to your face for the first 15 days.
Avoid forcing your face and eyebrows for the first 10 days.
Your eyebrows and temples will settle into their new form 3 to 6 months later.
This procedure lasts for 45 min and 1 hour (on average).

Infinity/French lift threads are of high quality and cling tightly to your tissue. Therefore, they’ll offer effects that will last you for years. That said, how long they last for depends on many personal factors (your skin’s nature, your genetic aging rate, your age, your quality of life, and whatever else you do to support your skin). On average, they last for 5 to 10 years.
French lift will enable you to get older by making you look 5 to 10 years younger.
No there won’t, as this procedure is performed by entering your scalp with blunt-ended cannulas.
The difference between this and other thread lift procedures is the thread used. Other procedures use threads that melt over time and get excreted through body. The thread used in French lift is flexible and silicone-based, and doesn’t melt or deform. Moreover, it is approved, reliable, and certified – and thus will be with you safely for many years.
Facelift procedure surgically lifts, repositions, and cuts into your tissues and removes excess skin.
French lift positions your tissues by lifting it with special thread designed for lifting. No excess skin is removed. Moreover, they are less risky than facelift procedure and have a much shorter recovery time.
